Membership
Benefits of Membership
By becoming a member of Temple Beth Jacob, you become part of a vibrant and progressive Jewish community. You are invited to hold all your family’s simchas (joyous celebrations) in the synagogue, to be counseled and consoled during times of pain and difficulty, to educate yourself and your children through our exciting and ever-expanding programs, to worship at Shabbat and Holiday services, to participate in all aspects of synagogue life, and to make lifelong friendships.
Temple Beth Jacob brings together a loving community of Jewish and interfaith families to share and sanctify all the special moments in the Jewish calendar and life cycle events. The Temple Beth Jacob community is a place to worship (avodah), to study (midrash), a place to gather (k’nesset) and is a place to pursue justice (tsedek), peace (shalom) and deeds of loving kindness (gemilut chasadim). Temple Beth Jacob fosters and shares our understanding of Reform values and traditions with the greater Jewish community. We strive to live as literate, aware, proud, and active Jews, thereby ensuring vibrancy and continuation of the Jewish community.
Membership dues sustain Temple Beth Jacob, and continue the tradition of having a Jewish community available to all in the greater Concord area. Membership entitles you and your household and your out-of-town family to seats at High Holy Day services. Temple Beth Jacob members may be eligible to purchase plots in the Jewish section of the local cemetery, subject to the rules established by our independent Cemetery Committee.
We invite you to experience the wonderful place that is Temple Beth Jacob. Our doors are always open to those seeking a spiritual home. The best way to learn about us is to come visit us in person. We invite you to attend Shabbat Services and any of our programs and activities. Share with us.
